Vintage Edition — 74

Vintage Edition 74 is a handmade Italian leather watch strap from the Vintage Edition Series, built as an homage to the historic “74” Panerai-style strap known among collectors for its rugged vintage character, broad proportions, and hand-marked identity.

Crafted from distressed Italian full-grain leather, the Vintage Edition 74 is hand-finished with a traditional blend of fats and waxes. This treatment keeps the leather supple and protected, while giving the surface a soft sheen that will deepen naturally as the strap develops patina through wear.

The “74” marking is applied by hand as a respectful reference to the well-known vintage Panerai museum and catalogue strap that has become a cult detail among Panerai collectors. The result is not a replica, but a handmade interpretation with the right warmth, thickness, texture, and old-tool-watch character.

Each strap is made to order in the Thomas Artisan Straps workshop in Sitges, Spain. The leather is individually cut, shaped, stitched, wax-finished, and completed by hand, giving every piece its own natural variation in tone, grain, markings, and surface character.

The Vintage Edition 74 works especially well with Panerai Luminor, Radiomir, 1950-style cases, military-inspired watches, tool watches, dive watches, and other fine mechanical watches that benefit from a bold leather strap with authentic vintage presence. It pairs particularly well with a distressed stainless steel buckle, shown in some photos and sold separately.
